Power

The ChemE Car Power Team designs, constructs, and integrates the key driving force of the shoe-box sized car: the battery! We will work as a team to design the battery packs to provide enough power to drive the car. In addition to testing different materials and configurations, we will learn the fundamentals of electrochemistry along the way. No matter your background in batteries or electrochemistry, we’ll provide you with the resources to learn to assemble a battery from scratch. Come join the team powering us to the finish line!
